Manufactured by Bosch Rexroth, the MAD100B-0150-SL-S2-EP0-35-N1 is an asynchronous air-cooled motor in the MAD series. It is equipped with a fan for cooling and comes with an easy-service design for convenience and ease of maintenance even during operation. This motor type is suited for use in all rotary drive tasks as a main and servo drive. This model comes with a frame size of 100 with a length of B. It is designed to be compact and easy to integrate in different environments including in harsh conditions. The motor has an IP 65 rating so it can be used directly in the area of the machine without risk of damage from coolants, solvents or other types of contaminants.
The motor can be installed in various setups and comes with flexible flange and foot mounting to accommodate different installation requirements. The terminal box for electrical connection is located on the Side A of the unit. It has an integrated single-turn absolute encoder with EnDat2.1 interface to provide precise motor feedback on the rotor speed and position. This motors output shaft is a shaft with keyway, balanced with entire key. For added protection of the motor, the shaft is equipped with a shaft sealing ring. This model does not come with a holding brake.
The bearing on this motor is a standard bearing suited for medium to low axial loads. It ensures low-noise running performance and a long service life. The motor is rated for a torque of 30.0 Nm and a nominal speed of 1,500 min-1. It can accommodate maximum speeds of 9,000 min-1 and a maximum torque of 68.0 Nm.
