Designed to provide a rated torque of 28 Nm, the MAD100B-0150-SA-S2-KK0-35-N1 is capable of generating a nominal speed of 1500 rpm. Since this motor comes with the standard ball bearing configuration, it is possible for this motor to attain a high speed of 9000 rpm, and at this high speed, this servo motor can generate a maximum torque of 68 Nm.
To help cool the motor during heavy-duty high-speed mode, the MAD100B-0150-SA-S2-KK0-35-N1 offers a cooling solution using an axial blower fan unit attached to the back end of the motor. This blower fan requires 400 volts AC to 480 volts AC to operate and provides airflow of 1000 m³ per hour. The motor power connector, the fan connector, and the encoder connector are all placed on the right side of the motor, allowing the operator to easily connect the wires of the motor and keep it neat and tidy. The cables on this motor have a cross-sectional area of 2.5 mm².
This motor comes with an Ingress Protection rating of IP 65, which provides level 6 protection against dust particles of up to 2.5 mm in size and also protection against 0.2 mm deep scratches on the body of the motor housing. The water protection, according to the Ingress Protection rating, is a level 5 rating, which helps keep the motor dry by withstanding low-level water pressure. The motor shaft does come with a shaft seal ring to prevent anything from entering the front and to prevent lubrication oil from getting out the shaft end of the motor, keeping the motor lubricated for a very long time.
