Product Description:

The MAD100B-0150-SA-S2-KK0-05-N1 is an asynchronous motor established by Rexroth Bosch. It belongs to the MAD series. It has size 160 and length C. This motor has a terminal box connection on the B side. It is highly beneficial in electrical systems, especially in large industrial motors and heavy machines. The terminal box has a wiring junction for supplying electrical supply to the motor. This connection is positioned on the B-side to make it easily accessible for future maintenance, repair and inspection. It also minimizes the chances of electrical faults as the cables are well managed to enhance the safety and performance of the motor.

Another feature of this motor is a plain shaft balanced with half key and no shaft sealing ring. The plain shaft is provided to dynamically balance the motor free from any vibration during its running. It means that the plain shaft does not need any complex seal designs for operation, while the balanced shaft provides more flexible rotation by minimizing mechanical strains and wearing off of the other motor components. Another advantage of the lack of a shaft sealing ring in this motor is that friction is minimized, and it improves performance.

Some of the benefits of a plain shaft include; mechanical stability, minimum wear and tear, and the durability of the shaft. When the motor runs without a shaft sealing ring, there are little or no friction losses and efficiency is increased. Another advantage of employing the balanced shaft without shaft sealing ring is that it does not require much maintenance as compared to other motors, due to lesser mechanical stress. This is advantageous in applications which require high levels of accuracy and stability, like automotive or aerospace.
