MAD100B-0150-SA-S0-BG0-05-N1 is a MAD series servo motor. It is equipped with a single turn encoder. This encoder is a sensor that measures motor speed and shaft position. It transmits the measurements to the motor controller. The controller supplies power for the motor and controls motor speed and position. Feedback from the motor helps the controller determine the required change, if any, needed in its output to make motor parameters match desires set points configured during system commissioning. Closed loop control with motor feedback is a critical component of industrial solutions that required precise motor parameter control. the MAD100B-0150-SA-S0-BG0-05-N1 motor is designed for flange mounting. If required, operators can order MAD motors with the flange and foot mounting option. The motor is equipped with an axial cooling fan that increases airflow across the housing to improve heat dissipation.
