Part of the MAD series, the MAD100B-0150-SA-C0-BP0-35-N1 is a 4.4 kW servo motor that can perform 1500 rotations a minute when operating at rated conditions. For use in high-speed applications such as drilling and metal milling, this servo motor is designed to be fully operational at a maximum speed of 9000 rpm, supported by the standard high-speed ball bearings designed to provide a lifetime of lubrication. When installing this servo motor, the MAD100B-0150-SA-C0-BP0-35-N1 can be mounted in a non-enclosed cabinet or area since it offers an IP 65 which keeps the servo motor protected against dust and low levels of water pressure. To keep the servo motor within the recommended operating temperatures and to prevent it from overheating, an axial blower fan on the rear of the servo motor helps keep this servo cool during high power rotation. This fan has a cooling air flow rate of 1000 m3 per hour and requires approximately 460 volts AC to function.

The servo motor comes with a flying shaft design which is perfect for attaching a coupler onto the shaft of the motor for transmitting torque to other components of a system. To ensure lubricants or anything leaks or goes into the motor enclosure, this servo motor offers shaft seal protection that keeps the shaft end of the motor tightly sealed. The motor comes with an R vibration severity grade that ensures this motor does not vibrate too much and helps prolong the life of the motor design since the body has been reinforced.
