Product Description:

The MAD100B-0100-SA-S2-AP0-05-N1 is an Air cooled AC servo motor that has an axial blower cooling fan unit attached to it forcing the ambient air to move into the internals of the servo motor. This Asyncronous motor is designed to be used as a servo providing a torque of up to 31 Nm with a speed of 1000 rpm. This motor has a rated power of 3.2 kW and requires 8.9 Amperes of current to operate. The motor has a winding code of 0100.

This motor can attain a high speed of 6000 rpm. To help move the motor shaft accurately, the MAD100B-0100-SA-S2-AP0-05-N1 features a single turn encoder which uses the EnDat 2.1 digital encoder interface which is bidirectional helping send the encoder to move to a specific position or to receive a single from the encoder receiving code for angular position and error codes for debugging.

This motor is IP 65 rated along with a shaft sealing ring attached up front to help prevent moisture from getting in allowing users to clean the motor with water jet without affecting the internals of the motor by causing corrosion. This motor is great for torque transmission as it features a balanced shaft key which helps this motor reduce axial load preventing bends or breaks in the shaft. This configuration of the motor does not come with a holding brake however users can find a custom configuration that features a holding brake. This motor features standard bearings which are not designed for continuous high speed use and have a life cycle of 20000 cycles and must be replaced or maintained after its rated life cycle to help prolong the overall life of the motor.
