The MAC160C-0-ED-3-C/250-R-1/S001 motor has multiple electrical connections and features in it. It has connections for the tacho feedback, an encoder for the position feedback, power connections, and the blower motor connection. The main power connection also has integrated several other connections in it. It provides power to the motor, connecting power cables to thermal protection switches and the connections for the holding brake. The thermal switches are embedded into the stator housing as well as into the windings of the motor. Both of them are connected in series and their connection terminals are with the main power connector.

The blower is already integrated into the hardware circuit. This blower uses a 3-phase power supply. Each cable of the three-phase uses a 0.75 mm2 cross-section cable. It is recommended that all of the electrical connections be done by a professional electrician. The encoder of this motor uses a cable of 8.8 mm2 cross-section. The recommended maximum cable length for the encoder is 100m. Since this cable carries signal data therefore it has an international protection rating of 65, which makes it dust and waterproof.

The motor must be stored at a temperature ranging from -25 degrees centigrade to +85 degrees centigrade. Its storage environment should be dustproof, dry, and shock-free. The protective covers of the motor connectors as well as of the shaft must be kept on while in storage. It is recommended while loading or unloading the motor should not be picked up from the blower because it can tear it off of the motor housing. The motor shaft and its electrical connector outlets must be protected while transporting because damages to this may result in serious performance issues.
