The MAC112D-2-FD-4-C/130-A-1/WI524LV is a new-generation industrial servo motor manufactured by Rexroth Indramat to operate with a compatible intelligent drive controller and accurately supply industrial machines with the kinetic energy they require for optimum operation. This industrial motor is a compact device that can maintain an operational efficiency as high as 95 per cent even when it is being used in adverse conditions such as mining areas and potentially explosive regions. The motor's housing is also covered with a special prime coating that protects it against corrosive liquid materials such as dilute acids, dilute alkalis, seawater and mineral oil. To improve the protection provided by the motor coating, an additional layer of paint can be added to cover the original prime coat; however, this additional layer must not exceed a thickness of 40 micrometres

The MAC112D-2-FD-4-C/130-A-1/WI524LV keeps its operational temperature within a permissible range through a combination of natural convection and surface cooling; the motor features an axial air blower which carries out the temperature regulation process of the industrial motor. The permissible ambient temperature suitable for the operation of this industrial motor falls between 0 to about 45 degrees Celsius; however, when the motor is not in operation, it can be stored at a temperature as high as 80 degrees Celsius. Also, the maximum permissible installation height for this industrial motor is about 1000 meters above sea level.
