Product Description

MAC090C-1-KD-4-C/110-A-1/DI518LV/S001 is a feature-rich servo motor. It is part of the MAC product line from Bosch Rexroth. MAC motors are made with permanent magnets, which are in turn made from rare-earth materials. Use of these magnets gives MAC motors very low inertia, which provides high energy-efficiency. The IP65 rated housing is another major feature of all MAC motors. The motors are immune to dust ingress. In addition the motors are also safe from water directed towards them from low-pressure jets. As a result operators can install MAC motors in different environments while knowing that the motors will be safe and will operate reliably. MAC motors support convection cooling and/or surface cooling. Convection cooling is a cheaper method of cooling the motors as it does not require an investment into cooling equipment such as fans or blowers.

The downside of convection cooling is that it enables lower rate of heat dissipation. As a result the output torque and current of motors is limited. Surface cooling, on the other hand, requires more investment as it requires installation of a cooling fan or blower. But surface cooling does allow a higher rate of heat dissipation, and as a result, MAC motors can deliver higher output current and torque. The MAC090C-1-KD-4-C/110-A-1/DI518LV/S001 motor supports surface cooling. It is equipped with an axial cooling fan rated for 230 Volts AC input. Another feature of MAC motors is tacho feedback for speed evaluation. The MAC090C-1-KD-4-C/110-A-1/DI518LV/S001 is equipped with a standard tacho generator. In addition, a standard blocking brake rated for 6.5 Nm holding torque is also available on the motor. Rated speed of the MAC090C-1-KD-4-C/110-A-1/DI518LV/S001 motor is 2000 RPM. The motor has a plain shaft. Operators can order shaft keyways and seals as options.
