The MAC090C-1-GD-3-C/110-A-2/S013 is one of the electronically commutated AC servo motors of the MAC series designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It is designed to reach a nominal speed of 3,000 revolutions per minute and accommodate a maximum current of 196A. Its windings have integrated thermo switches that monitor its temperature and prevent permanent damage due to thermal overload. These windings have an inductance of 1.5mH and resistance of 0.24 Ohms at 20^oC. The servomotor is enclosed in a sealed housing that does not admit solid extrinsic materials or water jets sprayed at it from different directions, giving it an IP 65 Ingress Protection rating per DIN 40 050. This sealed design also permits its use under poor environmental conditions without the risk of damage.

Its heavy-duty blocking brake has a holding torque of 14Nm and holds its servo axes backlash-free when the machine is powered off. The holding brake works with the closed-circuit principle.
