MAC motors have several features that make them an ideal choice for industrial application. Tacho feedback provides accurate motor speed and position evaluation. The IP65 rated housing and cable connections provide robust environmental protection. Shaft seals are available for improved protection. The MAC090B-0-PD-2-C/130-B-0/S012 motor has a shaft with optional seal for added protection. The motor also has a special 130 millimeters centering diameter. It supports convection cooling and requires 0 to 45 degrees Celsius temperature for rated output. The motor output derates at temperatures between 45 and 55 degrees Celsius. Bosch does not allow MAC motor operation at temperatures exceeding 55 degrees Celsius. The motor output also derates if the site altitude is more than 1000 meters. Power connection on the motor is on side B. Connectors for the power and feedback cable are not supplied with the motor, and operators need to order them separately. Nominal speed rating of the MAC090B-0-PD-2-C/130-B-0/S012 motor is 2000 RPM. The continuous output torque at standstill is 7.2 Nm and the continuous current output is 11.9 Amps. Surface cooling is available as an option for applications requiring higher current and torque output. The motor housing is protected by a black prime coat.
