Product Description

MAC090A-0-RD-4-C/110-B-0W1315 is a Bosch Rexroth servo motor. It supports tacho feedback and is equipped with a standard tacho generator for speed and position evaluation. The motor is also equipped with an additional absolute or incremental encoder for position feedback. Speed rating of the servo motor is 3000 RPM. Bosch has designed the motor for convection cooling. The continuous output torque at standstill is 3.5 Nm. The continuous output current at standstill is 11. 4 Amps. MAC motors support optional radial or axial cooling fans for surface cooling. The output current and torque are higher with surface cooling. Rated output requires ambient temperature between 0 and 45 degrees Celsius and site elevations between 0 and 1000 meters. Motor output derates if either the temperature of altitude exceeds these specified limits. Derated operation is not permitted at temperatures that exceed 55 degrees Celsius or at elevations that exceeds 5000 meters. MAC motors support optional holding brakes. However the MAC090A-0-RD-4-C/110-B-0W1315 motor is without a holding brake. The main power connection is on side B of the housing. A rating plate on the motor housing lists relevant information required for motor identification. Operators must check information listed on the rating plate at the time of equipment delivery. MAC motors are compatible with KDS, DSC and TDM drive controllers. Applications of MAC motors include textiles, robotics, packaging machinery and printing presses. Electronic commutation reduces maintenance requirements and leads to higher reliability. Bearings on the motor are lubricated for their complete operating life. As a result, MAC motors are maintenance free, which reduces operating expense and improves profitability. With an IP65 rated housing, the motor can be used directly within the working area of the machine.
