Product Description

The MAC090A-0-RD-3-C/110-B-1 is an AC servo motor with excellent smooth-running qualities resulting from the special design of the stator. The motor has low inertia due to the special material of the motor’s permanent magnet. The MAC090A-0-RD-3-C/110-B-1 model has a torque constant (at 20 °C) of 0.34 Nm/A and a rotor moment of inertia of 20 x 10-4 Nm. This motor has the ability to utilize peak torque over a wide speed range. The design of the bearing assembly makes the application of high radial loads possible. The floating bearing of side A and side B of the motor absorbs the radial and axial forces respectively. It provides a high degree of reliability due to the lifetime lubricated bearings and brushless design of the motor. A breaking break of 6.5 Nm is provided for clamping the shaft at a standstill. The heat dissipation is made possible through axial or radial surface cooling. Thermal deformations can affect side A and the motor is made available with thermal switches to keep a check on varying temperatures. The thermal time constant of the motor is 45 minutes. The MAC series motor can easily be transported if the temperature range falls between -20 °C to 80 °C. It is recommended to install the motor below 1000 meters above sea level. The 12.5 kg motor has tachofeedback that enables it to monitor speed and position. MAC090A-0-RD-3-C/110-B-1 has an inductance of 3.2 mH and a rotor speed of 3000 rotations per minute. The peak current utilization of the AC servo motor is 76 A. It is a product of Indramat that specializes in the manufacturing of such control engineering products. The power connector is attached to side B of the motor. The motor is especially recommended for dynamic applications like machine tools, robotics, and material handling.
