MAC071B-0-PS-4-C/095-A-0/WA611XX/S001 is an AC servo motor developed by Bosch Rexroth Indramat. The AC servo motor belongs to the MAC series, which is known for its use in a multitude of industrial applications. You can use these rapid-response components with packaging machines, robotics, machine tools, transfer facilities, textile machines, and a host of other possible uses. These MAC series motors work with three drive controllers, namely the TDM, DSC, and KDS drive controllers. The basic construction of the motor involves permanent magnets that are built with superior materials that allow the part to operate with very little inertia.

As mentioned, the motor is part of the MAC series, with a motor size of 071 and a motor length marked by the letter B. The motor does not necessitate an axial or radial blower and cools itself through natural convection as designed by the number ‘0’ in the part name.  As with such AC servo motors, the motor feedback is quite a crucial feature, and this motor is fitted with a tachofeedback which helps in evaluating the velocity and rotor position of the motor. Moreover, the tachofeedback comes with an incremental or absolute encoder.

The windings of the motor are denoted by the letters ‘PS’ in the part name, which explains that the nominal rpm of the motor is at a staggering 4000 min-1.  The motor is not supplied with a blocking brake. The weight of the motor is measured to be 8.8 kilograms when the weight of the tacho-generator is included and the mass of the blower and holding brake is excluded.
