Product Description

The Rexroth MAC071B-0-FS-4-C/095-A-0/WA612XX/S001 AC servo motor is designed to be used with TDM, KDS, and DSC motor controllers. This AC servo motor operates at 230 Volts AC with a frequency rating of 50/60 Hz. The motor also comes with a regulated power supply unit for powering the brakes or encoder modules however these modules should be controlled via an external PLC or a controlling unit that does not come with this motor.

The motor has a Nominal speed of 2000 rpm and for regulating the speed the motor features a tacho feedback module along with an incremental encoder that works in a closed loop system allowing the motor to move precisely based on the movement angle required. This motor, however, does not feature a brake clamp needed to stop the motor at a standstill, as it relies on the accurate positioning control of the incremental encoder attached to it based on the number of pulses produced by the encoder to estimate the number of rotations achieved by the servo motor.

One of the special features of this particular servo model is the output shaft design that features a balanced keyway slot that allows it to lock in place with a coupler when connected to an external shaft or accessory allowing it to transfer its torque. The coupling techniques allow the servos to be attached to CNC machines allowing them to move in their axis. The keyway shaft mechanism also allows the servo to easily be attached to the joint mechanisms of a robotic arm used in manufacturing and packaging industries although it is recommended to use the plain shaft motor as it can bear heavy loads without deforming the motor shaft.
