The MAC071A-0-HS-4-C/095-A-0/WA606XX is a high-performance AC servo motor from Rexroth Indramat Bosch with maintenance-free operation, IP 65 protection category, integrated thermo switches, and high-quality bearings. This part of the MAC series has permanent magnet-excited motors with electronic commutation. 

As for the motor length, this is the shortest one in the MAC 071 series, which means it has a compact design and a low weight. Being a natural convection motor, it does not need an external cooling unit, reducing installation space and maintenance costs. The flange type is as per the standard of DIN 42948. The motor has a cylindrical shaft end with 2Nm tightening torque and screws in the center spigot. The power cable is connected to the same side as the output shaft, simplifying the wiring and the cable routing. 

Being a multi-dimensional product, it has a tachofeedback for speed and rotor position detection and a mounted incremental encoder for position evaluation. The encoder has a supply voltage of 5V and generates 250 square-wave pulses per revolution. Unfortunately, the motor does not have a holding brake to clamp the output shaft at a standstill. As the nominal speed is less than 3000 min^-1 (2000 min^-1), the tacho voltage is 3V/1000 min^-1. At a peak current of 12.5A, the maximum torque that the motor can deliver for a short time without overheating is 14.5Nm.
