MAC063D-0-JS-4-C/095-B-1/WA606XX is a feature-rich industrial servo motor. It belongs to the MAC product line from Bosch. When combined with compatible controllers from the TDM, DSC and KDS series, MAC motors are especially well suited to applications such as textile machines, transfer facilities and handling equipment. Features such as electronic commutation and a brushless design ensure reliability and enable long-term cost savings. MAC motors include integrated tacho generators for speed and position measurement. In addition, MAC motors also support incremental or absolute encoders for position recognition. Life-time lubricated bearings allow maintenance-free operation, which further helps to reduce operating expenditures. The motor housing is fully enclosed as per protection category IP65. In addition, the motor power and tachofeedback cables as well as the encoder cables meet IP65 demands.

That is why MAC motors can be used directly within the working area of the machine even under poor environmental conditions such as affects of coolants, and soluble oil emulsions. The MAC063D-0-JS-4-C/095-B-1/WA606XX motor belongs to the MAC063D series. Its features include a holding brake, 3500 RPM nominal speed, and support for convection cooling. Surface cooled MAC motors can also be ordered. Specifications for the holding brake include 3 Nm holding torque, 24 Volts DC nominal voltage, 0.6 Amps nominal current, 30 milliseconds release delay, 15 milliseconds clamping delay and 0.55 kilograms weight. The motor has a plain shaft. Operators can order MAC motor shafts with a keyway and a shaft seal. A barcode sticker is attached to the motor. The sticker lists type designation of the motor, the customer, delivery slip number, consignment and name of the delivering agent. A rating plate is also attached to the motor housing.
