It has an IP-65-rated housing per DIN 40 050, which protects it from the penetration of multidirectional water jets and solid external materials. This means it can be used within the direct working area of the machine, even under unfavorable environmental conditions without the risk of damage. The housing is coated with a black prime varnish that is highly resistant to weathering, yellowing, and chalky buildup. There is a blocking brake of 3Nm torque in the servo motor to hold the servo axes backlash-free when the machine is disconnected from power.
