The ambient conditions for storage include -20 to 55 degrees Celsius temperature range, 5 to 95% non-condensing relative humidity, 1 to 29 grams per cubic meters absolute humidity and 1K3 climatic category. Moisture condensation and icing should be prevented from forming on the system during transport and storage. Housing of the KSM02.1B-071C-35N-M1-HP0-ET-S3-D7-TO-FW has IP65 ingress protection rating. The drive system does not require a control cabinet for installation and can be mounted near the operating machinery.

The output of the system derates by 3%/K between 40 and 55 degrees Celsius. The permitted relative humidity range for operation is 5 to 95%. The permitted absolute humidity range for operation is 1 to 29 grams per cubic meters. The KSM02.1B-071C-35N-M1-HP0-ET-S3-D7-TO-FW uses natural convection for cooling and therefore suitable amount free space should be provided around the operating system so that air can flow without being obstructed.
