The KSM01.2B-061C-61N-S1-HP2-SE-NN-D7-NN-FW is a distributed servo drive from Bosch Rexroth with the features of both servomotor and a servo drive. The device encompasses a 24VDC holding brake. The holding brake can be released electrically using the X2 connector for servicing and commissioning purposes. The multimedia card of the unit can be removed from the X7 slot after the cover is unscrewed. The contents of this card must be backed up before the parameters or firmware of the servo drive are changed. The product does not support a safety option on its X41 connector. The unit has a rated input power voltage ranging between 540VDC and 750VDC.

This distributed servo drive features basic performance and deploys natural convection cooling mode. It houses a hybrid electrical connector and a keyway shaft with a shaft sealing ring. The device must be mounted, installed, operated, stored, and transported correctly as per instructions, for the safe and optimal operation of its components. The product should be operated and repaired only by qualified technicians. The connectors of the unit must not be plugged in or removed when its components are in the ‘powered mode’. The H14 LED gets illuminated in yellow if a firmware update is in progress. The connectors should not be removed and there should be no interruption to the 24V supply when this update is in progress.

The preset 24V rating of the digital inputs helps activate the positive and negative directions of rotation as well as enable the drive. The device functions with the MMC firmware if there is a variation from the internal firmware. The cooling ribs of the supporting motor must be cleaned regularly so that there is no adverse functioning due to the accumulation of dirt, shavings, or dust. The bearings should be replaced if they emit a running noise.
