The KSM01.2B-061C-61N-S1-HG2-SE-NN-D7-NN-FW distributed servo drive is one of the several KSM series of such servo drives from Bosch Rexroth. This drive features a tricolor H1 LED to indicate its operational status. The three colors displayed are red, green, and yellow.  It must not be operated outside the ambient conditions. The LED remains OFF when there is a hardware defect, improper cable connection, or when the supply unit is turned OFF. The device supports an easy startup mode for its first commissioning. The unit must be connected to a PC through its serial interface for its commissioning. The servo drive comes with a warranty of one year.

The product has three digital inputs and no analog inputs. The device features an integrated oscilloscope function. It must be handled only after half an hour of switching it OFF so that the DC bus capacitors get discharged completely. The device is equipped with a single-turn Hiperface optical encoder with 128 increments. The encoder may get damaged if there is an impact at the shaft end.
