Product Description:
The KSD071C-0350-NN-M1-1P0-NNNN is a compact servo unit from the KSD IndraDrive Mi Motors series produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat. It combines inverter electronics and a synchronous motor in one housing, so the assembly can be mounted directly on a moving axis instead of being wired back to a separate cabinet drive. In automated equipment, it provides closed-loop position, velocity, and torque control for pick-and-place modules, carton handling, and tool positioning. Placing the power stage close to the motor can also shorten motor cable runs and simplify machine layout.
Under continuous duty at 60 K, the motor supplies 10.0 Nm of torque, while short-term demand can rise to 28.0 Nm. The torque constant is 1.85 Nm/A, so phase current produces a predictable amount of shaft torque during acceleration and holding. Acceleration response is supported by a rotor inertia of 0.00173 kg·m², which helps the axis change speed quickly without excessive lag. Position feedback is processed at an internal resolution of 128 × 2¹³/rev, giving the control loop fine position granularity for smooth interpolation. A centering hole with DS M10 geometry aligns the flange during installation. The keyed shaft with 10 × 8 × 45 mm dimensions provides positive torque transmission to couplings or pulleys.
For thermal loading, the winding time constant is 15 min, which is the approximate period required for the winding temperature to move toward a new steady state after losses change. The embedded encoder is an optical multi-turn encoder, and it retains absolute position information through power interruptions. Its storage capacity covers up to 4096 motor revs before a repeat point is reached, which supports applications that travel over multiple turns without homing after each restart. Back electromotive force rises with speed at 114.0 V/1000 min⁻¹, and the drive uses that value when matching operating speed to the available DC-bus voltage. This feedback arrangement is useful on axes that must recover position awareness immediately after power is restored.
