Product Description:
The KSD061C-0610-NN-M3-1P2-NNNN is an integrated servo motor in the KSD IndraDrive Mi Motors series produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat. The unit combines power electronics, feedback, and mechanical output in one housing, so it can mount directly on distributed machine axes and eliminate long motor cables. Its hybrid connector simplifies installation, and a spring-applied, electrically released 24 V DC brake is built in to hold the shaft when power is removed. The motor supports compact, energy-efficient automation cells in packaging, assembly, and material-handling lines.
Under rated conditions, the motor supplies 765 W of continuous mechanical power. Conductors must tolerate 17.7 A, which is the highest current drawn during rapid acceleration. With a torque constant of 1.16 Nm/A, the controller can calculate output torque from phase current. A back EMF slope of 71.5 V/1000 rpm establishes the voltage relationship associated with motor speed. The IP65 housing protects the internal components against dust and water jets, allowing operation in dusty or wet areas without an additional enclosure. The capacitive Hiperface multi-turn encoder uses 16 signal periods and returns absolute position after a power loss. A keyed shaft with a sealing ring transfers torque while helping retain lubricant and prevent contaminants from reaching the bearings. Hybrid cabling carries power, brake, and encoder signals through a shared connection, while the standstill torque at a 60 K winding temperature rise is 5.5 Nm.
During dynamic cycles, the drive can generate 18.0 Nm to overcome inertial peaks, and the spring-applied brake provides 10.00 Nm of holding torque when its supply is removed. A rotor inertia of 0.00093 kg·m² supports fast reversals while keeping control loops stable, and the motor’s 10.1 kg mass adds mechanical damping. The motor has a thermal time constant of 18 min, so its winding temperature responds gradually to changes in load under standard cooling airflow.
