Product Description:
Bosch Rexroth Indramat manufactures the KSD061C-0350-NN-M1-1P2-NNNN as part of the KSD IndraDrive Mi Motors series. This integrated servo motor and drive combines power electronics, control logic, and feedback in one IP-rated housing, so it can mount directly on the machine frame and shorten cabinet wiring runs. It is used to position tooling, conveyors, and pick-and-place axes with repeatable cycle accuracy in compact automation systems. A shaft with a keyway transmits torque without slip, and the unit can resist back-driving forces with a holding torque of 10.0 Nm when energized.
The axis reaches a rated operating speed of 3500 rpm, which is the maximum continuous velocity the load can follow during normal operation. At zero speed, it sustains 6.0 Nm of continuous standstill torque, allowing processes to dwell without a mechanical brake and helping the axis maintain position under steady load. Line conductors must be sized for up to 14.9 A because that is the peak current the windings can draw during acceleration. A back-EMF constant of 125.0 V/1000 rpm means that every 1000 rpm rise generates 125 volts of countervoltage that the inverter must overcome. Position data comes from an integrated optical multi-turn absolute encoder, and its logic tracks up to 4096 mechanical revolutions so absolute position is retained after power loss.
For short bursts, the motor can deliver 25.0 Nm of torque, providing additional margin for rapid indexing moves and other brief high-load events. The housing is sealed to IP65, preventing dust ingress and guarding against low-pressure water jets so the drive can be mounted on open production equipment. Dynamic response is improved by a rotor inertia of 0.00093 kg·m², which helps keep acceleration times low while still stabilizing heavier loads. The winding has a thermal time constant of 18 min, allowing moderate overloads for several minutes before the unit approaches its temperature limit.
