Product Description:
The KNK03.1A-NR-I0002-P-U226-A4-NNNN is a mains filter with an integrated mains choke produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the KNK Mains Filters series. Positioned on the line side of drive controllers, it conditions incoming three-phase power by attenuating conducted noise and reducing harmonic feedback to the supply. This makes it suitable for industrial automation systems that use regenerative drive technology and need cleaner line behavior upstream of the power electronics. It is installed between the incoming mains and the drive system, where it helps stabilize the line interface before power reaches sensitive motion components.
This model has a nominal current rating of 2.3 A, which is the maximum continuous line current it can carry without exceeding thermal limits. It accepts a mains connection range of 3×AC 380 V −10 % to 3×AC 500 V +10 %, allowing use on common industrial power systems. The capacitive network has a capacitance of 226 nF, which balances suppression performance with safety-ground current, and the enclosure is rated IP65 for resistance to dust and low-pressure water jets. When installed in the standard mechanical arrangement, the filter meets Category C3 via DIN 61800-3 for industrial environments with separate transformer feeds.
The filter is intended for regenerative devices only, so the internal choke is suited to bidirectional energy flow. Heat is transferred to the mounting surface through a thermal interface with insulated mounting, which removes the need for forced ventilation and supports stable operating temperature. The unit belongs to Series 3 and is assigned to standard application duty for normal industrial ambient and load conditions. This layout supports direct machine mounting where cabinet space is limited and line-side noise suppression is still required.
