The KMV Regenerative Power Supplies series is a Bosch Rexroth IndraDrive Mi family of distributed supply units designed to provide power and 42 V control voltage to KSM and KMS servo drives in decentralized drive systems.
The series is intended for cabinet-free or distributed machine architectures and works with the KNK mains filter and other IndraDrive Mi components as part of a shared DC bus system. Across the range, the units include features such as an integrated brake chopper, Multi-Ethernet communication, and support for different cooling concepts including natural convection, forced cooling, cold-plate mounting, and insulated mounting. The series is built with IP65 protection for use in demanding industrial environments and supports three-phase 380 to 500 V mains input with a 750 VDC output bus. Depending on the version, KMV units are offered in multiple current and power classes so the supply can be matched to the number of connected axes and the overall power demand of the drive line.
