As a drive that mounts close to the motor, it minimizes cable length between power electronics and the actuator, reducing electromagnetic emissions in distributed automation cells. The unit belongs to design version 1 of the series and is classified at the Basic performance level. Multi-Ethernet master communication and a Hiperface encoder interface allow the controller to exchange real-time position and torque data with higher-level PLCs while keeping wiring simple.
