The KMS02.1B-A018-P-D7-ET-ENH-L3-NN-FW distributed drive controller is one of the KMS series of drive controllers by Bosch Rexroth. The drive controller is used to operate IndraDyn S motors from the manufacturer. The controller has two sections comprising a power section and a control section. The device can be used along with the manufacturer’s distributed servo drive and electronic control system. The product comes along with a hybrid cable for communication and power. It has a line code of 02 and a design code of 1. The basic performance drive controller comes with a warranty period of one year.
The distributed drive controller has a maximum current rating of 18A and a DC bus nominal voltage of 750V. The drive controller comes with an IP65 level of protection. It features natural convection type cooling mode with the heat sink fitted outside the unit. The controller is UL Listed and CE Certified. The product has a rated power consumption of 16W. It has switching frequencies of 4kHz and 8kHz. Connectors must not be plugged in or removed from the device in the powered stage. The drive controller surface temperature may go up to 60 °C during or after an operation. The unit must be cooled for at least 15 minutes after switching off before touching it.
