Product Description

The Bosch Rexroth KDS1.1-150-300-W1 is a reliable servo drive that supports cold-running technology that helps prevent overheating. The drive and its power supply module tend to be flush mounting equipment as specified in DIN VDE 0160, which means they should be mounted in a control cabinet, preferably a closed cabinet. The protection category of the device is IP 10. It should be noted that a malfunction in the product cannot be cut off in an emergency stop situation. Hence, in such cases, the power section of the servo drive must be isolated from the mains supply by means of the mains contactor. This will stop the drive safely. The KDS drive has a current rating of 150 A. Its voltage rating is 300 V DC. The unit comes with an in-built fan for cooling. An external fan can be supplied as an extra set if there are greater power requirements. There is space for an external fan within the control cabinet. The drive module can be arranged on the left side of the cabinet, while the power module is on the right. The permissible transportation temperature of the product is between -25°C and 70°C. The opening in the drive’s control cabinet is sealed tightly with a gasket. The fan rotor and the heat sink are located outside of the housing or control cabinet. The drive module and the external fan, if used, can be mounted and exchanged on the inside of the cabinet. There is a rating plate for identification. The product has an LED diagnostic display. Faulty connections and improper handling of the device must be avoided. Only fully trained personnel should handle the installation, operation, and/or maintenance of the drive.
