The Bosch Rexroth KDS1.1-100-W1 is a robust and versatile servo drive in the KDS series. The drive is used in machines that demand position control and high speed. The control cabinet or the housing of the unit must guarantee sufficient protection against risks in vulnerable areas. The maximum mounting altitude of the KDS servo drive is 1000 meters above sea level. It should be noted that heat producing components of the equipment must not be installed right under the drive. Motor cables recommended by the manufacturer should be used for the lines between the device and the MAC servo motor. The control cabinet must remain closed during normal operation of the drive to ensure sufficient high-frequency shielding of the electronic equipment and internal wiring of the control cabinet. The components of the KDS drive incorporate extensive safety features and are technically secured against overloads to the maximum extent possible.
