The KDW 1.1-100-300-W1 module is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the KDS Servo Drive Modules series. Within a multi-axis cabinet, it forms the DC bus supply and energy-return path that the associated servo drives rely on for regulated power exchange between the line side and the intermediate circuit. Design code 1 and model version 1 indicate the first release in this family, and the module maintains a stable intermediate circuit so synchronous and asynchronous motors can accelerate or decelerate precisely during automated machining, packaging, or material-handling tasks in production equipment.
This supply can deliver a continuous output of 93 A, giving drives enough current to support simultaneous axis motion across multiple axes without thermal derating. Power is taken from a link circuit held at 300 V (+/- 15%); the module compensates for this tolerance so downstream inverters see a predictable DC level during changing load conditions. Heat produced by the switching electronics is removed through forced ventilation, which channels airflow directly across the heat sink fins and helps prevent hot spots during rapid load cycles. Protection is limited to IP10, meaning the unit must be installed inside a closed control cabinet where falling objects are blocked and fingers cannot contact live parts.
