The KDS 1.1-100-300-W1-115 servo-drive module is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the KDS Servo Drive Modules series. As a modular rack-mounted unit, it supplies regulated three-phase power to synchronous and asynchronous servo motors used in automated machinery and handling lines. In a drive cabinet, it works with the surrounding power and control hardware to regulate motor current for speed and positioning tasks. It is a servo-drive module with series code 1 and model designation 1, and it uses forced ventilation through the external LE4 fan unit to remove heat from the electronics.

The power section supplies a continuous current of 93 A and supports motor power up to 30 kW. It operates from a DC link of 300 VDC with a tolerance of ±15%, and short overloads are limited to a peak current of 100 A. Filtered DC-bus energy is converted into controlled motor output for both steady running and short acceleration periods. Internal switching and control losses total 150 W, while the module also has insulation category C and an IP10 protection class that helps prevent accidental contact with live parts. Cooling air is provided by the LE4 fan assembly, and the fan circuit is protected by a 1.25 A/250 E fuse mounted at the rear of the unit.

When installed in the rack, the system adds an external power loss of 400 W, which is removed by the LE4 fan operating from an AC 115 V supply at 50–60 Hz. The drive module weighs 15.2 kg and the fan unit adds 4.2 kg, so the mounting rail must support the combined load of both components. The module has a maximum surface temperature of 55 °C, an operating range of +5 °C to +45 °C, and a permissible mounting altitude of 1000 m without derating. This layout is intended for enclosed installations where the airflow path remains open and the heat-producing sections can be ventilated properly.
