The KDS 1.1-100-300-W0-115 is a servo-drive module produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the KDS Servo Drive Modules series. It provides regulated DC power and switching functions for synchronous and induction motors, allowing motion controllers to manage speed and torque in automated lines, material handling cells, and machine tools. The unit is built as Series 1 and Model 1, giving it the layout and feature set assigned to this version of the product. Its role is to operate as the power stage between the control system and the motor.

The module supplies up to 30 kW of output power to the motor phases while drawing energy from a link circuit stabilized at 300 V (+/- 15%). Under continuous duty, it delivers 45 A for steady torque demand on mid-range axes. The power electronics generate only 90 W of internal loss, which helps limit heat inside the module. If additional airflow is needed, an auxiliary fan rated at AC 115 V, 50 to 60 Hz can be used. The control electronics are served by dedicated low-voltage rails: the +15 V channel supports 140 mA, the -15 V rail provides 50 mA, and the 24 V logic line can source 1.45 A for encoder, relay, and sensor loads. A secondary X25 terminal can also supply an additional 50 mA at 24 V to field wiring.

At startup or during abrupt load changes, the drive tolerates a rated and peak current of 100 A, allowing short bursts of mechanical acceleration. External switching devices and cabling dissipate up to 200 W, and that heat must be removed through natural convection within the enclosure. The aluminum chassis weighs 15.2 kg and has an IP10 protection rating, so it is intended for installation inside a closed electrical cabinet at elevations up to 1000 m above sea level. Reliable operation is maintained in ambient temperatures from +5 to +45 °C, and operation outside this range may require extra cooling or derating.
