The KDS 1.1-050-300-W0-220 is a servo drive module manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the KDS Servo Drive Modules series. As model 1 in the range, it mounts on a common rail within the drive cabinet and uses a shared intermediate circuit to energize individual servo motors. By converting constant DC-link energy into phase-modulated output, the unit forms the electrical bridge between a central supply and the feedback loops that govern axis position in packaging equipment, gantry systems, and other multi-axis automation. This arrangement allows multiple axes to operate from a centralized power section while each motor still receives controlled output from its own drive module.

The module delivers a continuous output current of 35 A and tolerates link-circuit potentials up to 300 V (+/- 15%). Heat is removed by natural convection, so the enclosure surfaces must remain unobstructed, and power loss of 150 W is released to the surrounding cabinet air. During rapid accelerations, it can supply a peak phase current of 50 A. Within an ambient temperature range of +5 – +45 °C and at mounting altitudes below 1000 m, the drive can export up to 15 kW of mechanical power through the connected motor phases. The cast-alloy frame weighs 14.1 kg, which helps support stable cabinet mounting without unusual handling requirements. Its rail-mounted format also supports placement beside companion modules in centralized multi-axis cabinets, where power distribution and control wiring are grouped within the same enclosure. These operating limits should be observed so airflow, electrical loading, and cabinet spacing remain suitable for normal service.
