The KDS 1.1-030-300-W0-115/S102 servo-drive module is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the KDS Servo Drive Modules series. As a drive module, it forms the power stage between the mains supply and connected servo motors. It regulates current and voltage so that position or speed commands from the controller are executed precisely in automated machinery and material-handling equipment.

The drive delivers a continuous output current of 25 A, giving connected axes a stable current ceiling for sustained production cycles. For short, high-demand moves, the rated current reaches 30 A, enabling brief torque peaks without exceeding the thermal limits of the power electronics. The module has a power capability of 9 kW, so loads up to that level can be controlled without derating. Internally, the module is powered from a DC link maintained at 300 V ±15%, a voltage level matched to Indramat power supplies of the same generation. This bus voltage supplies the inverter stage that feeds the motor windings. Heat generated at these operating points leaves the housing through natural convection, eliminating the need for an integrated blower and simplifying cabinet airflow planning.

An external fan line rated at AC 115 V and 50–60 Hz may be connected when enclosure temperatures rise. This optional fan supports heat removal in warmer cabinets. The housing carries an IP 10 protection rating, so it provides basic protection against contact with large solid objects and must be installed inside a closed electrical cabinet. With a mass of 14.1 kg, the module has substantial mechanical heft without becoming difficult to handle during installation. The permissible ambient operating window of +5 to +45 °C aligns with typical factory conditions and is the range within which the stated output current and power values apply.
