This preassembled cable connects motor-mounted rotary or linear encoders to Rexroth drive controllers, transmitting position data and auxiliary signals required for closed-loop motion control in automated machinery. Its pinout, shielding, and mechanical durability help maintain stable feedback when the cable is routed through continuously moving carriers on assembly lines, gantries, or pick-and-place systems.
The cable is designed for repetitive movement, and its conductors withstand 5,000,000 flex cycles when correctly installed in a drag chain. The assembly uses INK0448 bulk cable with four signal pairs and two power leads in a 4x2x0.25 mm² + 2x0.5 mm² conductor layout. The 0.25 mm² signal pairs have a loop resistance of 83.0 Ω/km, which limits voltage drop over long travel distances. The control cores are rated for circuits up to 300 V. For proper routing, the minimum bend radius is 5 × D in fixed installations and 7.5 × D during dynamic movement.
