The Bosch Rexroth Indramat IKS0721 is a pre-assembled feedback lead offered within the IKS Encoder Cables series. By integrating shielding and matched conductor geometry, the cable maintains signal integrity in automated machining centers, pick-and-place gantries, and similar motion-control assemblies.

At the core of its construction is a Encoder (Total Shield) design, meaning every conductor bundle sits beneath a common braid and foil that diverts interference to ground. Four differential feedback channels are built with 4x(2x0.25 mm²) pairs, giving balanced impedance for incremental or absolute sensors. Separate servo logic power is delivered through 2x1.0 mm² supply leads, and the bundle reaches the controller as exactly 10 conductors in total. Despite this conductor count, the outside of the cable measures only 8.8 mm across, allowing tight routing through drag-chain carriers and cabinet glands.
