The IKG4145 motor power cable is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the IKG Motor Power Cables series. It routes three-phase energy from a drive controller to servo or induction motors used in automated production lines. The conductor set, shielding, and jacket materials help reduce electromagnetic interference and mechanical wear during repeated motion. This makes the cable suitable for gantry movement, packaging axes, transfer stations, and other systems where power delivery must remain stable while the cable bends and travels with the machine.

At the core of the cable are 4x1.0 mm² power conductors that carry the motor phases, along with 4 × 0.75 mm² auxiliary leads for brakes or sensors and a 1.0 mm² GNYE protective earth. The bundle sits inside a sheath with an outer diameter of 12.0 mm, which helps it pass through drag-chain dividers and routing hardware without taking excessive space. In moving carriers, the cable is rated for 5 million bending cycles, supporting continuous-duty motion on automated equipment. A braided and foil combination provides a Total Shield to reduce emitted noise, and the drive end can be secured with an EMC gland that uses a M25 × 1.5 thread. Continuous service is allowed up to +80 °C, so the insulation remains suitable near warm motors and in areas with elevated ambient heat.

For installation, the minimum bend radius is 5 × D in fixed routing and 7.5×D during flexing, which helps limit conductor strain in moving applications. The outer sheath is made of PUR and has a matte, low-adhesion surface that resists abrasion while shedding lubricants and welding spatter more easily than a tacky jacket. Its Orange (RAL 2003) color keeps the cable easy to trace in crowded machine spaces, especially where several power and feedback lines run side by side. Because the compound is halogen-free and silicone-free, it reduces corrosive gas release during a fire and helps avoid contamination in paint or finishing areas.
