The Bosch Rexroth Indramat IKG4083 is a flexible motor power cable from the IKG Motor Power Cables series. It is intended to transmit mains power and auxiliary control signals between a servo drive and its matched motor in automated machining centres, packaging lines, and industrial material-handling axes. By combining power and feedback conductors in a single jacket, it simplifies routing inside machine cabinets and moving cable trays.

The cable is rated for a continuous line-to-line voltage of 600 V AC. Each power core has a cross-section of 4.0 mm², and the bundle contains 4 evenly stranded power conductors to carry three-phase current plus protective earth. Separate signal channels are provided through 2x1.0 mm² + 2x1.5 mm² control wires, allowing motor temperature or brake circuits to travel beside the main supply. A Total Shield of tinned copper braid encloses the set to suppress EMC emissions. The orange RAL 2003 polyurethane jacket resists cutting oils and abrasion, while the overall diameter remains 17.0 mm to fit standard cable glands.

Electrical parameters are optimized for drive technology: the cable shows a capacitance of 0.8 nF/m, keeping reactive current low on long motor leads, and a loop resistance of 4.95 Ohm/km, limiting line losses at typical servo currents. The insulation system allows continuous conductor temperatures up to 90 C. Mechanical handling in dynamic axes is supported by a minimum flexible bend radius of 7.5 x D.
