The HZF02.1-W045N is a combining filter that is used in the AC drive systems produced by Indramat. The AC drive systems are frequently used for controlling the position, speed, and torque of industrial servo motors. The HVR power supply modules are an integral part of the AC drive systems. The HZF02.1-W045N is used in conjunction with HVR power supply modules. The HVR supply unit is used to rectify the 3-phase supply and deliver a regulated DC bus voltage. The HZF02.1-W045N combining filter is used to suppress the interference signals that arise due to electrical and mechanical switching. The device can be installed in compact control cabinets and has the dimensions of 175 mm x 262 mm x 498 mm (width x length c height). An 80 A input is required for standard operations of the filter. Besides, the device operates on 45 kW nominal power.

The HZF02.1-W045N is able to prevent data errors, unintended operations, and accidental shutdowns that are caused due to excessive interference. The combing filter suppresses leakage current that is a result of line capacitance. This helps to keep the interference values within the EMC defined limits. The factory version of the device can be installed within a 1000 m height above sea level. For using the system above 2000 m, an overvoltage limiter is used with the filter.
