The HVR03.2-W045N/S203 is a cabinet-mounted power supply unit developed by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the HVR Power Supply Units series. Within an Indramat drive system, it takes three-phase plant power and creates a stabilized DC bus that feeds multiple inverter modules. This allows synchronous and asynchronous motors to share a common energy source during coordinated automation tasks used in packaging, printing, and material handling lines. Because the DC link is shared, the unit can support several connected axes from one supply section instead of requiring a separate supply stage for each inverter.

This supply accepts incoming three-phase mains in the range of 3 x AC 380–480 V and withstands a ±10% tolerance, so it can operate on facilities that experience moderate voltage swings. Thermal management is provided by internal air cooling with built-in blower, a self-contained fan system that drives airflow across the heat sink and eliminates dependence on external cabinet fans. At rated conditions, the module outputs 45 kW of electrical power, which it converts into a regulated DC bus voltage for drives tied to the common rail. The localized airflow helps maintain stable thermal behavior during sustained operation. The stabilized bus helps reduce voltage sag during regenerative braking and helps prevent overvoltage trips when multiple axes decelerate at the same time.

The unit is Design version 2 and follows the layout used for Series 03. This gives it the mounting points and connector pinouts used across that product generation. It is classified as an HVR Power Supply Unit and is compatible with existing DIAX or ECODRIVE controllers. Cabinet planning still needs space for blower airflow clearance and for the power connections. Consistent connector placement also helps cabinet layout when the unit is matched with compatible drive components.
