Product Description

The HVE03.1-W030N is a 2nd generation power unit that is manufactured by Rexroth Indramat Company. It is part of the AC drive system that comes in a modular design to meet the specifics of the application a hand. It allows you to operate numerous drive controllers simultaneously without the need for an extra power unit. The HVE03.1-W030N falls under the HVE series of power units. The main use of this power unit is to rectify the 3-phase AC voltage from the mains supply to provide an unregulated DC bus voltage for the drive controllers.

When using the HVE03.1-W030N in generator mode, the regenerated energy is dissipated as heat via a bleeder resistor. Thanks to the internal power contactor, you can separate the drive controllers from the mains. It controls the voltage for all connected controllers. Another use of the HVE03.1-W030N is to monitor the drive system. It is to be connected to a mains voltage consisting of 3 x AC 380 … 480 V and motors of a maximum continuous mechanical power of 60 kW. It can be combined with the DC bus choke GLD that makes an optimum adjusting to the power requirements of the application.

The HVE03.1-W030N has a continuous bleeder power of 1.5 kW, peak bleeder power of 100 kW, and maximum regenerated energy of 100 kW. It weighs 16 kg, has a basic loss of 175 kW, and a 355 kW power loss at the maximum continuous output. Its conditions of use include a permissible operating temperature of 5 to 45 degrees, a storage and transport temperature of -30 to 85 degrees, and an installation elevation of 1000 meters above sea level.
