The HNL05.1R-0043-N0514-N-A4-NNNN mains choke offered by Bosch Rexroth is compatible with the manufacturer’s HMU range of inverters. This mains choke generates the required power for the step-up converter operation. The product suppresses the harmonics with low frequency. The device has 43µH nominal inductance, 400W power dissipation and 514A rated current. It increases the lifetime of the DC link capacitors by lowering the current ripple that occurs in the DC link. The unit can be deployed when many transducers are connected in parallel at short intervals. The device weighs 48kg.

This mains choke must compulsorily be implemented if several inverters are connected on one cable. The choke lowers the chance of commutation failures. The product features electromagnetic properties. The device primarily comprises a steel core with copper coils wrapped around it. These coils produce a magnetic field when they have a current flow through them. This helps to lower the current rise that results in minimizing the harmonics and ensuring protection.
