Product Description:
The HLL05.1F-04M0-S0475-N-D7-01U2-NNNN is a bus choke manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the HLL Bus Chokes series. Installed between a drive rectifier and DC-link capacitors, it limits ripple currents and dampens harmonic feedback inside multi-axis automation cabinets. This component is designed for liquid cooling, enabling high continuous currents while keeping winding temperature below its thermal limit. By integrating a normally closed temperature contact and a current-compensated winding layout, the choke supports stable power quality and protects connected inverters. Its placement in the DC bus path also helps reduce electrical stress on nearby power components during changing load conditions.
The electrical section centers on a DC bus rating of 750 V and a nominal choke current of 475 A, allowing it to buffer large transient loads drawn by high-power servo drives. A nominal inductance of 4 mH smooths rapid current changes without imposing excessive voltage drop on the bus. The internal cavity holds 1.2 l of coolant, and the assembly has an IP00 protection rating, so it must be mounted inside a grounded enclosure. A normally closed thermal switch is provided for monitoring through 24 V DC and 250 V AC auxiliary circuits, and the switching current is limited to 1 A. All electrical terminations are arranged for busbar integration, and the design maintains stable operation at ambient temperatures up to 40 °C.
Thermal management relies on a minimum coolant flow of 6 l/min delivered through brazed stainless lines, and system pressure must not exceed 4 bar. Inlet water may reach a maximum of 60 °C without risking cavitation or seal degradation. A built-in sensor trips at a winding temperature of 160 °C to open the normally closed contact for drive shutdown. The liquid path is arranged for low restriction while still removing heat produced by core and copper losses. The isolated contact path allows the control circuit to respond to an overtemperature condition without carrying power-circuit current.
