Product Description:
Bosch Rexroth Indramat manufactures the HLL05.1F-04M0-S0243-N-11-01U2-NNNN as part of the HLL Bus Chokes series. This current-compensated bus choke is installed in the DC link of multi-axis drive cabinets where it moderates line disturbances, limits inrush peaks, and steadies the intermediate circuit energy. By adding distributed inductance to the link, the unit minimizes ripple that could otherwise stress inverter semiconductors and interfere with sensitive motion-control electronics during continuous production duty.
The choke is rated for an AC contact voltage of 250 VAC, enabling safe switching on the line side when maintenance contacts are opened. Its allowed leakage capacitance of 187 µF sets the maximum external filter network that may be connected without altering resonance behavior. The cooling circuit uses liquid cooling, so a closed water loop removes copper losses while the electronics remain sealed. When mounted on a drive stack, the device tolerates a DC-bus potential of 1100 VDC and delivers a nominal current of 243 A through its windings. The core provides 4 mH of inductance at the rated current, supplying the impedance needed to attenuate high-frequency components. Auxiliary terminals handle a 24 VDC control signal for the N/C thermal switch, and the contact set can carry up to 1 A.
The enclosure rating is IP00, so the choke requires installation inside a protected cabinet to prevent accidental contact. Cooling water must enter below 60 °C, and circuit operation should cease if the winding sensor reaches 160 °C so the insulation remains intact. An ambient room limit of 40 °C and a hydraulic pressure ceiling of 4 bar preserve flow integrity, while the normally closed contact simplifies fault reporting to the higher-level controller.
