Product Description

The HDS04.2-W200N-HS78-01-FW is an HDS drive from the family of Diax04 drives designed and built by Indramat Rexroth company. This drive is used in a wide range of applications like roll forming, food processing, and Robotics, among others. This drive is one of the most popular models manufactured by the company. It is known for being capable of handling different loads. The drive is designed in such a way that there are multiple modes available. These modes can be used to enter the input or get the output. A programming mode is present using which the user can enter the parameters necessary for that particular application.

Customization is one of the key features of this drive. This drive is an intelligent model which can automatically detect temperature ranges and other such parameters and adjust accordingly. It has a half-duplex bus system through which all the connections can be made. Up to 31 different components can be connected using this serial bus. This bus supports transmissions up to 9600/19200 baud rates. The high speed of data transfer makes this drive an attractive one. The bus also supports a transmission length of up to 500 m for the components without much loss of data or any attenuation occurring. A PC supported visualization component can also be connected to this drive.

The drive has a starting lockout mechanism. This mechanism ensures that the connected motors do not start if there is an error in the main system. All the individual components will be connected to this mechanism and this will ensure that none of the components start accidentally when the drive has an error.  If the axis is moving, the starting lockout mechanism will not stop it.
