The HDS01.1-K015-R drive controller is intergraded with an HVR supply module for signal transmission and the transfer of power voltages. The drive controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth contains several components like the basic unit, software module, plug-in modules, and communications module. The servo drive uses the HSM software module, which includes the drive firmware and storage parameters. The operating software to be used depends on the type of configuration and the desired application. The servo drive parameters can be transferred to another drive controller through the HSM software module during servicing or replacement of the previous drive. The servo drive is used in applications like printing and paper processing machines, packaging and food processing machines, and handling and mounting systems. The spindle drive serves as a single or multiple-axis drive in the control of machine tools.

The HDS01.1-K015-R is supplied with an additional plug-in module for inserting the Digital interface card used in the bi-directional exchange of data. Each plug-in interface has 15 inputs and 16 outputs and is differentiated by its internal address. The digital interface is also used for connecting incremental measuring systems through the square-wave signal output. The drive controller has a high-resolution positioning interface for the recording of signals. The sinusoidal voltage signals detect the position of an attached external measuring system. The resolution of the signal period transmitted by the drive measuring system is 2048-fold.

The HDS01.1-K015-R servo drive is mounted at elevations of 0 to 1000 meters above sea level and operated at an ambient temperature ranging from +5º to +45º C. The drive controller is powered by an HVE supply module, which supplies the required voltage of DC 20 to 30V with a continuous breaking capacity of DC 24 V.
