Product Description:
The HCT02.1E-W0025-A-03-B-L8-2S-D1-NN-NN-FW is a multi-axis drive controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the HCT Multi Axis Drive Controllers series. Designed as a feeding module, it accepts three-phase AC mains and distributes regulated DC bus energy to as many as three servo axes while supervising communication through its embedded PC based on LX 800 hardware. This arrangement supports coordinated positioning, speed control, and braking functions that are commonly required in packaging lines, pick-and-place gantries, and other synchronized automation systems.
The controller provides a rated continuous output of 25 kW, allowing it to supply several high-power motor inverters from one cabinet position. At three-phase 400 V, the unit draws 44.0 A, so the upstream fuse and cable sizing must match that demand. The internal DC link uses a capacitor bank of 1.18 mF, which smooths the rectified voltage and supplies transient current during rapid load changes. Thermal management is handled by an integrated blower that moves 310 m3/h of air through the heat sink to keep semiconductor temperatures within limits. Dynamic braking energy is routed to an onboard resistor rated at 5.00 kW with a resistance of 10.17 ohms, which helps prevent DC bus overvoltage during fast deceleration. The DC bus switches off at 900 V, and the bus choke supports 25 kW.
The control section includes 32 digital inputs and 16 digital outputs for direct sensor and actuator wiring. It also has four encoder evaluation channels and four probe inputs to support accurate position capture on each axis, while network communication is handled by an integrated SERCOS III master and a standard I/O interface. The housing has an IP20 rating, so the unit is intended for installation inside enclosed cabinets with controlled airflow. The drive also has a short-circuit current rating of 42 kA rms, uses a recommended 50 A mains fuse, and measures 455 mm × 320 mm × 191 mm.
