Product Description:
The HCT02.1E-W0025-A-03-B-L8-2S-D1-D1-NN-FW is a multi-axis drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the HCT Multi Axis Drive Controllers series. The unit coordinates several servo axes from a central rack-mounted platform and distributes DC-bus energy to each inverter section, making it a core element in modular motion systems such as packaging lines, pick-and-place gantries, and material-handling cells. By combining power conversion, axis control, and field communication in a single enclosure, it simplifies cabinet wiring for industrial automation.
The feeding section accepts a three-phase input of 3 x AC 200 to 500 V, covering common line voltages with a tolerance of ±10%. From this supply, the controller delivers up to 25 kW to the shared DC link, while the X5.1 channel can sustain 35.0 A of continuous motor current; auxiliary channels X5.3 and X5.4 each provide 14.0 A. Operation at these current levels produces about 850 W of internal loss, and an integrated blower moves 310 m³/h of air through the heat sink. The basic control design includes an embedded PC based on an LX 800 processor, a standard I/O set, four encoder ports, four probe inputs, and SERCOS III master communication for tight multi-axis synchronization.
The housing measures 455 × 320 × 191 mm and weighs 11.70 kg, so it can be mounted on a back panel without lifting equipment. Its enclosure rating of IP 20 limits use to protected cabinets, while a short-circuit current rating of 42000 A rms matches high-capacity feeder circuits. The controller also provides thirty-two digital inputs and sixteen digital outputs, and two DEA40.1 option cards can double these counts for more complex interlocking schemes. Forced-air cooling, moderate mass, and compact size help preserve clear cabinet layouts and reduce thermal interaction with adjacent equipment.
