With its Multi-Ethernet master communication network, the HCS01.1E-W0054-A-03-B-ET-EC-NN-SB-NN-AW supports SERCOS III, PROFINET IO, EtherNet/IP, and EtherCat. Connectivity via these Ethernet-based interfaces is provided by software-configurable communications hardware. It is fitted with an advanced control panel, and firmware is ordered as a separate subitem. The advanced control panel has a programming module function for programming the converter. This converter has a highly compact design and is designed to be mounted into control cabinets. Its protection rating is IP 20 according to the guidelines of DIN40 050, IEC 529, indicating that it is touch-proof and impenetrable to objects greater than 12mm in size.

The HCS01.1E-W0054-A-03-B-ET-EC-NN-SB-NN-AW is equipped with integrated safety technology, the Safe Motion Bus. The integrated safety technology, in addition to the IEC-compliant motion logic and industry-specific technology modules, makes it suitable for a wide range of applications. Any standard encoder type can be used as this converter is equipped with a multi-encoder interface. Standard encoders like HIPERFACE®, EnDat2.1, EnDat2.2, SSI, BiSS C, TTL, sin/cos, resolver, MSM encoder, and MS2N encoder. This allows it to be customized according to a specific function. It is used to operate Rexroth IndraDyn motors.
